Commissioned by Sharon Braun for the Red Deer College/Conservatory Faculty Concert, April 2006. “Let Life Fall” is first set leisurely, then humorously at a rapid tempo. “Suddenly Two Stones” has running water-like triplet figures in the piano. “The Surf Pounds” is a brisk setting depicting the process of erosion.
